VULCAN 8VA - BI-DIRECTIONAL CORRIDOR LOUDSPEAKER 07-0071-C08

The Vulcan 8VA Bi-Di is an 8 watt rms, 100 volt line, all steel construction Voice Alarm loudspeaker for Public Address systems, with power tappings down to ½ watt. The speaker has two drive units facing in opposite directions, designed for effective use in corridor applications in areas where a vandal resistant loudspeaker is required, such as underground car parks and any unsupervised corridors in shops, shopping centres and other venues. It is produced in a cream and grey, vandal resistant metal cabinet to deter the vandal but at the same time maintain an aesthetic look.

The Vulcan 8VA Bi-Di is supplied with ceramic terminal block and thermal fuse. Fire retardant linking wires ensure that in the event of the loudspeaker being damaged by localised fire, the loudspeaker circuit will not be affected or the system compromised. The speaker is simple to install and the steel cover is easily removed for test and power adjustment. No additional junction box is required.

• Terminations are leaf protected and self-extinguishing to temperatures above 800°C, with in and out terminals for monitored wiring.
