This booster amplifier is one of a range of 19” rack-mountable booster amplifiers, giving outputs of 240 watt (JPA 240DP), 360 watt (JPA 360DP) and 480 watt (JPA 480W) rms. Designed for use with most mixer amplifiers being used for paging and background music in education, hotels, leisure centres, places of worship, retail outlets, offices, factories and other work and meeting venues where quality speech and music reproduction is needed.

The JPA 240DP, with soft start on ac power, has an automatic variable speed fan and protection against current surge, overheating and load short circuit. It has both XLR and screw input terminals and priority control. The amplifier operates on 240 volts ac or 24 volts dc power.
