For use in zoned commercial Public Address systems, the JPA 1240 and JPA 1240A are 240 watt five-zone mixer amplifiers, 240 volt ac or 24 volt dc powered. Both amplifiers have four separate, switched output zones. Designed for 100/70 volt line or low impedance operation, the amplifiers feature an ultra quiet variable speed cooling fan and an audio specification that renders background noise virtually inaudible. These amplifiers also have thermal cut-out, short circuit protection, output level LED indicators and the ability to accommodate any of the tuner, cassette, CD or message store modules in the associated range (JTP 10, JCP 10, JCR 10, JCDR 10A, JCDP 10A and JDM 10A)
