The Digital Message Manager (DMM) is a state-of-the-art, stand-alone unit that plays uncompresssed Windows WAV files to CD quality - better sound quality than compressed formats such as MP3 and WMA. Sound files are stored on a CompactFlash card (up to 1Gb) for instant random access (up to 512 files) and provide more than an hour's CD quality audio on a single card.

Two useful features of the DMM unit is its easy configuration for different modes (the most powerful ScriptMode offers considerable flexibility - for example play a file, wait a few seconds, play another file then jump to another script; or play an endless loop - interruptible or non-interruptible) and unit customisation (customise the unit yourself or let us quote to customise it to your specification).

The DMM can be used for automatic announcements (activated by a Passive Infra Red detector [PIR] or a simple switch for up to 8 separate messages/switches), periodic announcements – for example, in-store repetitive spot announcements (using the internal timer for up to 512 separate messages), playing high quality music while on hold, and for up to 512 messages with a computer serial interface.

The unit has a single voltage power supply (10-30 Vdc) and a built-in 7W mono amplifier that in most cases allows direct connection to loudspeakers, eliminating the need for external amplification. It has line level output for interfacing to existing PA systems

The complete system comprises DMM Module, DMM/DMP Power Supply Unit, DMM Mains Lead and DMM High Speed, Type1, 2Gb CompactFlash Card. (Any item may be purchased individually.)
