Infra Red Listening & Hearing Systems

An infrared listening system is one of the simplest, most secure methods of satisfying the requirements of the hearing impaired and the legeslation intended to protect them. IR listening systems provide audio amplication to loops, hearing aids or via a headset maintaining security without overspill.

This small Infra Red receiver is a High Frequency 2.3 / 2.8 MHz unit and can be used by anyone, with the IRR NL 3.5 neck loop for the hard of hearing user or headphones.

When a hearing aid is switched to the 'T' position the received signal can be heard through the hearing aid, the IRR NL 3.5 neck loop plugs into the top of the receiver module via the mini jack plug.

Can also be used with headphones

The receiver uses two AAA batteries (supplied) inserted into the back of the unit.
